About Five Points Bakery

Five Points Bakery is a whole grain bakery and toast cafe with abundant indoor and outdoor seating. We strive to provide a magical experience, not just great food and service.

Five Points Bakery is a cafe in Buffalo, New York. It is listed at 44 Brayton St, Buffalo, NY 14213, which places it among the local businesses of Buffalo that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as bakery, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

Coffee in the United States is served by three kinds of places: national chains with drive-thrus and mobile ordering, independent neighborhood cafes that double as a workspace or a meeting spot, and specialty shops that roast their own beans or buy single-origin lots and brew them by pour-over, espresso or cold brew. Most open between 6 and 7 a.m. on weekdays, slightly later on weekends, and the busiest hour is the commute rush before 9. A drip coffee runs a few dollars, espresso drinks and specialty pours more, and tipping a dollar or a percentage on the card reader is customary but not required. Nearly every cafe offers free Wi-Fi, though some limit laptop seating at peak times or on weekends, and outlets are often the scarce resource.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. The most common schedule is 8 am–3 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Five Points Bakery at (716) 884-8888; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is fivepointsbakery.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.7 out of 5 from 831 reviews, which is a strong result for a cafe in Buffalo and suggests consistent service.

Buffalo is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Buffalo follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Excellent baked goods and coffee! Very friendly staff. The restored building is amazing. We had breakfast sandwiches, granola, and rggs and toast and all were delicious. We also had the oat toast and it was excellent. The coffees were all great as well. Overall, a really nice breakfast.

My husband and I were looking for a coffee shop in the area and happened to wander into 5 Points. It was such a great little spot! Even though it was busy and we had to wait in line, it was absolutely worth it. The pastries were fresh and full of flavor, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. If you’re in the area, I definitely recommend stopping by!

Came here while visiting my fiancΓ©. It was a Sunday morning. There is quite a decent size line to order but it moves fairly quickly. This place is nice. I like the different types of chairs they have, it’s unique and gives it a quaint vibe. The food is very good. Feels homey.

As soon as you walk in POW, you see the line up of baked goods and the kitchen full of staff energetically assembling orders. The rustic look is so calming, equalizing the rush of ordering and those hard at work. Once at the counter the cashier was so patient and loving towards us, taking her time to describe the baked goods we inquired about. We got a Cinnamon Roll Bread Pudding, which was so soft and well balanced. It's a DENSE baked good and it forces you to savor every bite. It was incredible with the icing actually being more tart to balance out the sweeter bread pudding. This is PEAK comfort food. The drip coffee soothes the soul, as does the golden milk latte. We got breakfast and will get the chocolate cake to go. It was a rainy day and this place just felt so comfortable and homey. Lots of families and couples enjoying themselves. Definitely stop by to get anything, this place is a refuge.

I love this place! I come here often to work - the upstairs area is great for working solo or having meetings. It usually gets kind of crowded by about 10am, but I never have trouble finding a table. Drinks are amazing, I love their oat milk chai or sesame latte! Food is good, you have to build your own toast but the ingredients are good quality. Pastries are always perfect! The staff are all really friendly and wonderful, making this a true local gem!
